Haven Beach Shack (formerly By the Sea) is a basic but stylish beach shack in a truly wonderful and unique location.
If you’re after an iconic, older style beach shack a with a beach chic touch, this is for you. Literally only steps away from the stairs down to the beach, overlooking the famous Tilbury Cove on Culburra Beach. This beach is patrolled during summer with flags a few minutes walk down the road.
Our space comprises two separate storeys sleeping 6-7 people maximum. Upstairs, a master bedroom with queen bed and stunning views out to sea, a second bedroom with three single beds, bathroom, living area and kitchen all with fabulous views. Step outside onto the large deck perfect for the afternoon bbq’s overlooking the ocean
Downstairs, a double bed, sofa and separate bathroom and laundry.
Facilities include a modern kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, iPod docking station, two bathrooms, one with bath tub, ceiling fans and outdoor seating
This property has a fabulous large front lawn, ideal for games, outdoor lunches, or an afternoon aperitif watching the sunset.
The pantry has tea, coffee and a few staples for guest use. Guests may have an extended checkout on a Sunday during off-peak times (please contact our team re availability, conditions apply).
Note that the garage is not available for use at this property.

Property Specific Notes:
The property has a wire rope balustrade around the verandah. The garden is not securely fenced so young children need to be supervised outside.
Pets are NOT welcome at this property.
This property does NOT have internet access or Wi-fi.
This property will consider bookings for groups of young people and/or Schoolies, however, these bookings can only be made by application. Please message us; a comprehensive guest registration form must be completed prior to confirmation and a $2000 cash bond is payable. Other conditions apply.
Notes:
Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email.
This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.

The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.
If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.

For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

Location is amazing
Amazing and relaxing location
Great location, clean space with a responsive host. A lovely getaway spot.
This is a great house in a fantastic spot. But be aware check in time for this house is 4pm and then check out is 10am. So it's not great value for money if you are just getting away for the weekend.
Lovely location and basic bones but not very clean
Breathtaking to just sit on the deck and watch the waves. Time stands still at By the Sea. Thank you for sharing it.Jane
