Sea Gem is a comfortable two-storey house with a modern bright beach feel in the tranquil small seaside village of Callala Beach.

Callala Beach is on the northern side of Jervis Bay and only a 2 and a half hour drive from Sydney. Sea Gem caters for families of all sizes or even couples wanting a quiet relaxing private getaway. With a short 3 minute, 130 metre walk to the famous white sands, you can enjoy the crystal clear turquoise waters of Jervis Bay.

The house has been set up with comfort and style in mind.The upper level has a living area with an open wood fireplace, TV, DVD player, Apple TV and sound system, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and 2 queen bedrooms. Downstairs has a second living area with TV, DVD player and sound system leading out to an undercover entertainment area, second bathroom, a queen bedroom and a bunk room with 1 bunk and 1 tri bunk. NBN connected Wifi is also available.

Enjoy relaxing in the sunlit living area upstairs with sliding glass doors leading out to the balcony on which morning coffee is a must just to take in the tranquillity of the area before starting your day. In winter, enjoy the comfort that the wood fireplace brings to a relaxing evening after exploring the area through the day.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, oven, cooktop & microwave. Dining is spread out over two tables. There is also a second fridge in the laundry.

The backyard is a well-established, secure, fully fenced yard with gas bbq and outdoor setting perfect for outdoor entertaining or relaxing.

Wi-fi is offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge issues will be dealt with ASAP but cannot be guaranteed.

To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.

Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email.

This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.

Terms and conditions apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you.

The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.

NSW Planning has passed laws that affect guests. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on our website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises (if strata) near holiday rental properties. This means guests have to be very mindful of noise made in or outside the property that can disrupt neighbours at any time of the day.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited.

This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.

Our standard check-in time is 4 pm and check out time is 10 am. We can offer you a complimentary early check-in or late check out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Please call our team to request this prior to your arrival. Please note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check ins or late check outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure a later check out or early check in is to book the property for an extra night, please contact us to see if we can offer a special rate for this extra night. Please note that Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening of that week.

Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.

Information during your stay can be found in the Guest Information Folder or by calling our office 24/7.

For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

Tidy and very comfortable. Once you find the shortcut pathway to the beach, it's only a 1 minute walk to beautiful Callala Beach. I would gladly stay here again. Also, the people at Holiday Rental Specialists are excellent. They are friendly, professional, and very informative.

Nice place. Accommodated 6 of us comfortably. Easy walk to the beach, a short drive to Callala IGA supermarket and shops. It rained most of the time we were there but we had a very relaxing time playing board games and cooking meals.

Beds were super comfy and a great place to stay in, nice communal areas too. Only a few minutes walk to the beach which was great. Only issue was that there was a few dead insects already there when we arrived in the kitchen and a trail of ants coming into the property.

Great property, 2 min walk to the beach and there is a coffee cart just 5min walk away as well which was perfect for the mornings. Showers are brilliant and Outdoor bbq area is awesome so would definitely recommend this place 👍

The house was very comfortable, with lots of space. Loved the two separate lounges and the big yard. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was a bonus to have two fridges in the house. The main attraction of this property was that it was so close by to the beach. We had a lovely getaway and enjoyed our time at this property. It would be wonderful to come back. Thanks for the stay.

“A seaside home away from home! This property was well appointed and perfect for our group of two families. The downstairs lounge provided a separate space for the children to play Xbox and watch DVDs. The upstairs theatre room/lounge was fantastic. (We took advantage of this on a rainy night). The rear garden area had ample comfortable seating. The kitchen had all the mod cons. There were nice touches throughout the house like candles, flower vases, soft throws, beanbags, games and books. The highlight was being just a few minutes’ walk from stunning Callala Beach. The beach boasts clean sand, clear calm waters and is family and dog friendly. We would happily return.”
