The Break at Culburra is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac midway along Culburra Beach and has ample off-street parking for 3 cars or even the boat.

The house has been designed to feel open, airy, and comfortable. There are large sliding doors to the decks, 360-degree windows flooding the house with light, and a lovely internal pitched roof. Spread over 2 levels, the home includes 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a nursery, an open plan living/dining area, and a rumpus/cinema room.

The modern kitchen features high-quality appliances, a great range of utensils, platters, glasses and quality kitchen knives. The pantry remains stocked with all the essentials – Twinings teas, instant and ground coffee, olive oil, flour, sauces and spices. Some basics are also provided to get you started, things like cleaning supplies, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, kitchen towel and hand soap.

The kitchen overlooks the large open-plan living area, its spectacular ocean views, and those across the back garden. Expansive polished timber floors lead to front and rear entertaining decks, complete with a new Turbo Elite RQT stainless steel barbecue. The fully fenced native coastal garden has lush lawns and a hand-built dining area designed with long lunches in mind.

The house has a relaxed feel but is finished to a high standard, with thought given to the practicalities and luxuries that we know will make your stay all the more memorable.

The four bedrooms and two bathrooms comfortably cater for up to 10 guests 6 adults and 4 children, with a separate nursery with a cot for babies or toddlers. All the bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and drawer space, and they are well-dressed with high thread count linen. Upstairs, the master suite includes a king-size bed, wrap-around windows and glass doors opening onto the front balcony to frame the amazing sea views. Downstairs, this is complemented by two well-appointed queen rooms and a double bunk room. There are two modern bathrooms, one of them ensuite to the master, both with showers and baths, a separate toilet downstairs, and an outdoor hot/cold shower to rinse off after a day on the beach.

The main open plan living and dining area captures 360-degree views of the ocean, the lake and the mountains. The 3.5 m reclaimed timber dining table seats 10 comfortably and the enormous leather couches provide plenty of space to stretch out and take in the views. The stairs are made safe for small children with a secure gate.

The rumpus/cinema room downstairs is the perfect spot to take in a movie on the 60 LED TV. We have a range of DVDs for kids and adults.

High-speed wireless broadband access is provided throughout the house for our guests, and we have compiled an extensive handbook filled with ideas for enjoying the local area.

This wonderful property looks out across Culburra Beach towards Crookhaven Heads. Nestled amongst the dunes in a beachfront nature reserve, you will awaken to the sounds of the ocean and the native birdlife.

The Breaks lifestyle has something for everyone…wake up to the sunrise over the sea, walk barefoot down to the surf for a morning dip, take a walk along the beach and surrounding headlands, have a long lunch on the deck, play backyard cricket on the lawn, or read and watch the kids play in the fully fenced back garden. Top it all off with a BBQ and a cold drink on the rear deck as the sun sets over Curleys Bay and the mountains of the Morton National Park.

Just moments from the beach, a sandy path leads from the front door to the stretch of golden sand that is Culburra Beach.

The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
