The Shabby Shell has been lovingly renovated and is now a refurbished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom beach house 220m from the sparkling blue waters of Callala Beach. Ideal for a weekend beach getaway or a relaxing rejuvenating break. Great for families, couples or group of friends alike the house is tastefully furnished and the outdoor hot and cold shower is a favourite with visitors.
Both bedrooms feature comfortable beds with subtle lighting. The main living area is air conditioned. Warm and inviting in winter and equally as welcoming as a place to gather in Summer.
Located in the living room of The Shabby Shell is a Dick Smith TV. Please do not adjust the settings of the TV as they are all pre-set for area. There is also a Sony Sound System located in the lounge room also. Please follow the instructions below when operating the TV.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes coffee machine and dishwasher. Choose to dine indoors or out. During the summer months the outdoor BBQ area and hot and cold outdoor shower make the garden the focal point of this property.
Callala Beach is perfect white sand, bushwalking, and soothing ocean breezes. In Callala Beach you can dive, navigate the waters in a sailboat, or watch playful dolphins in the amazing waters. Perfect for snorkeling, swimming, and more, a holiday in Callala Beach can be as relaxing or as activity filled as you like.

Linen
Linen Service full property all beds, $200 per stay. All beds will be freshly made for your arrival. The service includes sheets, pillowcases, bath towels, bath mats and hand towels. If you only require the linen service for a certain number of beds and not the entire property, please contact our bookings team for a quote. If you don’t book the linen service, then you will need to bring your own sheets and towels. There are pillows, blankets and quilts with covers on the beds. BYO beach towels.
Property Specific Notes
Pets are welcome at this property. There is a surcharge of $100 to have your pet stay. Please declare at the time of booking and refer to the terms and conditions regarding pets.
Wi-fi is offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge issues will be dealt with ASAP but cannot be guaranteed.
To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.
Notes
Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email.
This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.
Terms and conditions apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you.
The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.
NSW Planning has passed laws that affect guests. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on our website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises (if strata) near holiday rental properties. This means guests have to be very mindful of noise made in or outside the property that can disrupt neighbours at any time of the day.
If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited.
This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
Our standard check-in time is 4 pm and check out time is 10 am. We can offer you a complimentary early check-in or late check out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Please call our team to request this prior to your arrival. Please note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check ins or late check outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure a later check out or early check in is to book the property for an extra night, please contact us to see if we can offer a special rate for this extra night. Please note that Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening of that week.
Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.

For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

Clean, comfortable, close to the beach and pet friendly.
Great place to stay if you have a dog with you, our dog loved wondering around the back and front yards which can be secured if you close the front gate.
Very comfortable for our family of 3 plus dogs. Being able to stream to the tv from our own device was great for the kids. The dogs do have access to the front yard from the back. Would definitely stay again!

This place was great our kids and our dogs loved the stay, really close to the beach also. Loved the outdooor shower and toilet , the towel heating racks, and the well stocked kitchen.
Great location with short walk to quiet end of Callala Beach. Clean and tastefully furnished - no complaints.

The Shabby Shell lives up to its description. We had a delightful stay with kids and dog in tow. Super close to the beach at the quiet end of town. Birds galore and all the ammenities you need for a peaceful break by the water.
Such a wonderful place to take our family. House is located so close to the beach, just a short stroll. House is so clean and well maintained which made us feel better especially with Covid!! The outdoor shower was great which meant little sand inside the house. Wifi was worked always and never let us down and the beds were super comfy!!! The wind chime in the garden is the perfect touch. Awesome place we will be back.
Had a great stay at The Shabby Shell. Immaculately clean and tidy place just a couple minutes walk to Callala Beach. This was our third time at the property and it was just as good as the first two visits. Can’t fault the place; definitely will be back again.
Short distance to beach, kid friendly’s place. A bit disappointed about bathrooms. Only one bathroom inside the house. Overall, we have a great stay.

We loved the well thought out pretty cottage. We were delighted by the decor the moment we walked in and our stay was made easy by everything that was provided.
