The battle-axe drive leads to a hidden and private sanctuary where you can enjoy changing seasonal gardens, with space to kick a ball, to entertain or just breathe! The house is unique and well maintained with beautiful use of timber throughout including vaulted ceilings, cedar windows and door frames, polished floorboards, timber detail on windows – all complimented with a classic mix of antiques and contemporary furniture with earthy neutral tones and splashes of aqua and shades of blue.

There is an eclectic mix of furniture from India, France, and Vietnam, hand crafted in elm, French oak and oak which all add a feeling of warmth and character. This immaculate home radiates warmth and charm and there is a medley of sun-drenched rooms all with green views. An indoor/outdoor gauzed conservatory really brings the outdoors in and has been styled like a tranquil African Safari tent now you really are on holidays!!

All this and only a short walk to Mittagong’s cafes, restaurants, pub meals, antique barns, gorgeous Lake Alexandra and picnic area, not to mention the numerous walking trails starting at the end of the street. Plan a 40 minute walk over the Gib and into Bowral for coffee or hike Mt Alexandra to the Katoomba lookout and finish off with a swim at the local swimming pool or watering holes at the bottom.

To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for “Schoolies” breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.


This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.

Beautiful Airbnb in a great location. A great place to stay with a big group due to the large living room and the fact it has multiple spaces. My only call out would be that there are 4 main bedrooms and downstairs in the basement is the let bedroom which isn’t really a proper bedroom that sleeps 4 people and it can get quite cold there. Other than that we had an amazing time and the house is just beautiful!!

We had an awesome long weekend at Treetops! A great place to stay with a group of friends with plenty of room for everyone! Would definitely recommend this beautiful property and will no doubt return for another weekend in beautiful Mittagong!

Beautiful house with room for everyone. Excellent set up with everything you'd need for a short or long stay. So close to both Mittagong and Bowral and of course the wonderful wineries. We'll definitely look to go back again.
