Description

The Views is perfectly situated in a commanding elevated position with extended views to the east across the Morton Nation Park. This Circa 1911 Exeter workers cottage was relocated in 2005 and has been meticulously restored and extended, the original floorplan flows seamlessly to new additions that reflect original architecture. It has been lovingly set up for short or long stays a great weekender or perfect home away from home.

A wide wrap around verandah, with outdoor furniture and bbq, compliments the traditional double fronted faade with classic stained glass front door. Features such as 180mm Kauri floorboards, 10' ceilings, timber lining boards, the original claw footed bath with feature brass fittings all add to the grace and charm of this cottage.
A large open plan kitchen/dining/living room boasts a corner kitchen with colonial style cabinetry, modern appliances and black granite benchtops. A generous and comfortable dining and living room has direct access to the northern verandah through double French doors.

Children will be delighted with the playroom and its scenes of the magic faraway tree and other imaginative art as well as the cubby house which sits perfectly in scale on the front lawn.
There is a good sealed driveway and ample off-street parking.

This impeccably presented property is situated in an envied position, just a short drive to the start of the Glow Worm Glen walk, and close to cafes and services of the hamlet of Bundanoon.

Beautiful house in a great location if you want to explore the Southern Highlands. Our daughters loved that the house was so child friendly, the toys, games and very cute cubby house kept them entertained for hours!

We loved staying here! Very pretty house and a perfect place to relax with friends. We particularly loved the verandah. About 1km or so walk from the shops/cafes which was perfect for us.

The house has a very spacious feel with open living area and full length verandahs on two sides. The kids play room inside the house is great. The house is very well equipped with nothing that we required is missing. The quality of the bedding, towels etc. was excellent. The house could comfortably accommodate slightly more than 4 adults and 2 small children in our party. It’s about a 15min easy walk to centre of Bundanoon or only a couple of minutes drive. We were delayed in checking in due to some communication problems but these were rectified as quickly as possible and the unsolicited refund or one night accommodation was much appreciated.

6 family members loved our 4 night stay. We found the property spacious and well equipped, in a quiet and peaceful setting. Bundanoon has plenty of items of interest for nature lovers. We were happy to see lyre birds and blue satin bower birds which was a treat for our overseas visitors. No wombats I’m afraid – all the more reason to visit again soon.

The space is so open, airy and light with a great verandah and beautiful view, lots of peace and quiet. Would be a great house for kids too!

This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay.
Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties. If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.
Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.
This property is NOT pet friendly.
To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.
WiFi is not guaranteed. This is a service offered as a complimentary extra. As there is no charge for this service we will attempt to fix issues as they arise but cannot be held accountable.
