Founder, Rebecca Cribbin and her team look after properties all over NSW, the business has grown from just 20 properties under management in 2014 to nearly 400 today. They specialise in holiday properties in Culburra, Callala and Currarong as well as Jervis Bay, the Southern Highlands, Kiama, Gerringong, Gerroa, Berry and Kangaroo Valley. The team have the expertise and contacts to manage holiday rental properties anywhere in Australia.

Rebecca is thrilled to be working in the holiday rental industry. “The two things I love to do most is spend time with my family and friends and travel, at the intersection of those two things for me is FUN. I believe that families who travel together and have fun are more likely to stay together. It excites me that I can help make that magic happen.”

Holiday Rental Specialists have been the recipients to the Southern Highlands Business Award for Tourism Services in 2016 and 2017 and are finalists in the awards for 2018. They also won the 2016 Silver Award for Holiday Rental Management on the South Coast of NSW. Plus were national finalists in the Australian Small Business Awards in the category of Tourism for 2016. This year business owner, Rebecca Cribbin, is a finalist in the Southern Highlands business person of the year award.

After working with hundreds of owners we have noticed that most owners face three major challenges with their holiday rental investment property.

  1. They don’t live locally to their property so they don’t have the necessary contacts for trades, housekeepers and maintenance and they aren’t on the ground when a guest needs assistance.
  2. The business of advertising, booking, cleaning and managing a holiday rental property is complicated and constantly changing. Most owners don’t have the experience or access to the expensive technology required to maintain a high profile online.
  3. Each property takes an average of 40 bookings a year and at least 200 enquiries to get those bookings, most owners just don’t have the time to manage this amount of enquiry.

Rebecca’s background is in corporate call centre management, having managed large call centres in both Australia and Europe. She has bought this very process orientated and procedure driven experience into her business and is focused on ensuring owners and guests benefit from streamlined operations. She is an active board member of the national Holiday Rental Industry Association and is on the committee working with the State Government to introduce planning certainty and regulation into the industry. Rebecca is also the author of a soon to be released book which will help new holiday rental investors called “Ready, Set, Booked”.

Rebecca works to holiday with her family and they are seasoned travellers, her life philosophy is “life’s better on holidays” and she is incredibly excited and thankful to work in an industry which focuses entirely on ensuring other people’s lives are “better on holidays”.
