Welcome to Cloudhill. Perched atop the ridge off Range Road in Mittagong and sitting at around 800 metres above sea level, the property has glorious country views across farmlands to Sydney, the Blue Mountains and beyond. As the name suggests, expect to wake some mornings to fluffy white clouds floating past your window and if the weather and season permits, maybe a complete five-station firework display from Sydney Harbour!
Formerly part of a 500-acre dairy farm and now sitting prettily on 6.5 acres surrounded by 100 acre lots - it is a quality property and a quiet and peaceful retreat with abundant wildlife. There are eagles that hunt on the property on a daily basis, lots of rabbits, the occasional fox and wombat. In season there are cows and sometimes calves on the property.
The gorgeous refurbished cottage has character-laden original sections with beautiful Kauri floorboards and original parts of the dairy cottage are over 100 years old, but it has been renovated with all the modern conveniences, and furnished with a mix of antique and vintage furniture, to ensure a blissful stay.

Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email.
This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.

The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.
If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
This property will consider bookings for Schoolies, however, these bookings can only be made by application. Please message us; a comprehensive guest registration form must be completed prior to confirmation and a $2000 cash bond is payable. Other conditions apply 7 days prior to the stay.

For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

Beautiful house with a spectacular outlook. Well set up for a family weekend away with a well equipped kitchen and great dinning table. The living room is very cozy with the fireplace. The couches could do with updating but otherwise, it’s a great place.

A great place to stay with friends and family. Plenty of amenities with clean bedrooms and bathrooms. The view is amazing as the property sits on one of the highest hills looking north. We could see the City lights! Would gladly stay again.
13 of my friends and I stayed at Cloudhill for the October long weekend and enjoyed our stay. The views are absolutely stunning - the photos don't do it justice. The open space and distance from the town centre (only 10 mins) made for a peaceful weekend. We were disappointed to find a lack of modern amenities including no smart TV. The only TV in the house was a tiny TV with no smart technology. We also found that dishes in the cupboard were dirty, though this may have been the dishwasher. The house certainly was not a perfect size for a group so large, however we made it work and sincerely appreciate the time we spent at Cloudhill.
Fantastic views in comfortable surrounds. Large house that was able to accomodate our big group, the views were a fan favourite/highlight. Great communication with the hosts throughout.
Our stay at Cloudhill was outstanding, the house is amazing, particularly the lounge that fit everyone around the fire and the dining room (so often houses that accommodate 12+ to sleep do not accommodate 12+ at dinner or in the lounge). The kids had fun sleeping upstairs above the garage in their own spot, everything was there that we needed. Views divine even on a weekend of hideous weather, which I'll admit added to the experience.
