Castaway at Shoal Bay is a tastefully decorated apartment that suits a family of 3 or a couple getaway, right on the beach.

Bottom floor apartment with one bedroom, one bathroom and open plan living. There is ample room for the kids, or second couple to sleep in the lounge, perfect care free holiday by the beach.

Run across the road to the waters edge, take a stroll along the beach, or dine out at one of the local cafes, restaurants or The Country Club. Once you have arrived leave the car parked in the car park, everything is within walking distance of this apartment.

Located in the ever popular "Castaways" complex opposite Shoal Bay Beach, this one bedroom ground floor unit is the perfect getaway. You can literally walk across the road to the area's best swimming beach (fantastic for children) or enjoy the array of water sports. Everything is in short walking distance so pick up your morning coffee at Shoal Bay shops, groceries at the local IGA, and walk to Tomaree headland to enjoy bushwalking, public BBQs and the ocean beach. Unwind at the end of the day enjoying ocean views on your own patio and then walk to Shoal Bays fabulous restaurants.

The Nelson Bay CBD is approximately 5 minutes by car where you can enjoy boutique shopping, award winning restaurants and the marina where dolphin and whale watching cruise boats depart daily.

The Bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan and small robe.

The lounge room has a TV, DVD and a sofa and two ottomans which are ideal for children to sleep on. Bathroom has a walk-in shower. Shared laundry. Patio with outdoor furniture. Undercover off street parking accessed via Lillian St. Basic beach supplies provided.

There is a shared laundry located behind the stairs to the upper units. An affordable escape with everything on your doorstep.

Linen:
This property does not include sheets or towels, please bring your own or book the linen service. The property has pillows, blankets and quilts.

The linen service is $60 for King/Queen and $50 for Single. All beds will be freshly made for your arrival, bath towels, bath mats and hand towels are included (BYO beach towels).

Please contact our guest services team to book. A discount will be offered if the service is booked for less sleeping positions.

This property does not have internet access or Wi-fi.

To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.

Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed under the Guest Information tab on our website or a link which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email.

This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.

Terms and conditions apply for this property and payment warrants your agreement and that of all other guests staying at the property with you.

The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.

If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies. Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.

Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.

Information during your stay can be found in the Guest Information Folder or by calling our office 24/7.

For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.
