Moss Vale is one of the major towns in the Southern Highlands. Some say the hub of the Highlands because of it's rich agricultural history. One of the first settlers was Charles Throsby the British explorer who discovered the area and became the major employer in the town. Moss Vale today is home to livestock sales yards, farmers markets, vibrant cafe's and a traditional annual agricultural show. You must visit Leighton Gardens in the Autumn and Spring, the historic railway station and the Cecil Hoskins nature reserve.
