Description

Sea Bird is a 3-bedroom single level brick cottage about 200m from the sands of Culburra Beach.  It lies in a quiet cul-de-sac on a big grassy block with a large tree out the back that is loved by the local birdlife.  The beach is accessed by a laneway with no busy roads to cross, the Culburra shops are less than 1km away and it’s a flat walk passing the fantastic local skate park and playground on the way.

Although the 30-year-old house is in original condition it has been thoughtfully fitted out with comfortable beds and simple comforts. Consistent sea breezes and the distant sound of waves help make this house a relaxed place for small groups who are looking for a simple holiday with little technology.  The old teak table out the back or the lounge in the screened patio are perfect for watching the kids play or enjoying the northerly sun.

LIVING ROOM

3-seater lounge, two leather armchairs, large coffee table, two cane chairs, foot stool.

Wall mounted 32” Samsung TV with access to local channels and a BLUE RAY player attached.

The music system has a radio, CD player and USB connection for portable devices.

DINING ROOM

Standing electric oven and hotplates. Microwave. NO dishwasher. 2 bowl sink. Nespresso machine. Electric kettle. 4 slice toaster. Nutri bullet blender. Electric fry pan. Sandwich press. MASTER BEDROOM

King size mattress and base ensemble. 2 bedside tables and lamps. Built in wardrobe with hangers. Doona and warm blanket. Ceiling fan.

2 King Single mattress and base ensembles. 1 bedside table and lamp.  Portable open wardrobe and coat hangers. Doonas and warm blankets. Ceiling fan.

BEDROOM 3

Single wooden framed bunk bed and trundle bed on wheels. Cube storage unit. Clothes hooks. Doonas and warm blankets.

MAIN BATHROOM NEAR BEDROOMS

Original condition, single shower, bath, basin and toilet.

LAUNDRY/SECOND BATHROOM OFF DINING AREA

Small shower with curtain, toilet, laundry tub, front loader washing machine.

OUTSIDE

Screened in patio off the kitchen. L shaped lounge and coffee table.  Large teak table with 10 chairs on the grass under the tree. Gas 4 burner hooded BBQ.

A short stroll to the middle of Culburra Beach which is one of the most beautiful on the south coast.
The Culburra shops have a full supermarket, takeaway food shops and cafes.
There is a skate park with basketball hoop and play equipment about 150m from the end of the street.
The Crookhaven public boat ramp is 4km away.

Linen:

This property does not include sheets or towels, please bring your own or book the linen service. The property has pillows, blankets and quilts.

Full linen service for all of the sleeping positions at this property is $260.

All beds will be freshly made for your arrival, bath towels, bath mats and hand towels are included (BYO beach towels).

Please contact our guest services team to book. A discount will be offered if the service is booked for less sleeping positions.

Cleaning:

There is a cleaning fee at this property.

NOTES:

This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence and there are no shared rooms. Enjoy your time in comfort and privacy.
Directions to the property and Key/Access details will be emailed to the guest at 4pm two days prior to arrival.
Extras available for hire include porta-cots and highchairs. Send us a message to check availability and cost.
Information during your stay can be found in the Guest Information Folder or by calling our office 24/7.
This property is approved for accommodation only.  No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed.  The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay.
Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.  If you or any other guest receives a warning regarding excess noise or excess guests, you may be asked to leave the property IMMEDIATELY with no refund of monies.  Noise audible outside the property is prohibited between 10pm and 8am.
Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
Out of peak season stays of a week or more may qualify for a discount, please send us a message.
This property is NOT pet friendly.
There is no Wifi at this property.
To ensure the comfort of our guests and the neighbours, we do not accept bookings for "Schoolies" breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow weddings or parties of any sort.
For your added security, this property is managed by a Licensed Real Estate Agent. We will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held safely in our Trust Account until after your departure.

"Great little house.Close to the beach and a short walk from town. We loved the big backyard. Comfortable outdoor couches and a cute family of seabirds that seemed to live on the front lawn. The kitchen was great. It had everything we needed, even a Nutri bullet to make smoothies. Nice, simple, comfortable and clean. Highly recommend."
