This 1970s style beach house allows for 7 guests, with ample room in the large back yard for a dog or two, and loads of parking at the front for a couple of cars or a car and boat. It is within walking distance to Shoal Bay Beach one way, or little beach in the other direction, conveniently situated between the two. The Beach Shack has a large open kitchen which flows into the lounge and dining area and a wide spacious and airy hallway that leads to the large bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry area. Furnished with decor to complete the ultimate 70’s comfortable beach family getaway.

Conveniently located within a couple of minutes’ drive to Shoal bay town centre and Nelson Bay town centre. Close to cafes, restaurants, shops & the Diggers Club, whale watching cruises and the marina, bike paths, fishing sites, surf beaches and the skate park.

Fingal Beach Shack @ Fingal Bay

Wake up to the sound of the sea at Fingal Beach Shack @ Fingal Bay. This charming air-conditioned beach cottage is conveniently located 50 metres from the beach and across from the Cellar Cafe and local shopping strip. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed, bedroom 2 has a tri-bunk and there is a fold out sofa in the lounge area. There is also a BBQ at the property for perfect summer afternoons enjoying the sea breeze. Property has heating and split system in master bed and living.

Relax on the large enclosed rear entertainment area while you watch the kids play in the large backyard. Parking is not a problem if the family are travelling separately or if you have a boat and a jet ski!

Fingal Bay Beach is a patrolled beach. A near-perfect C-curve of sand that faces southeast, Fingal Bay Beach has its own island connected by a sand-spit and is well protected from all but a hefty southeast wind. The spit at the north end which links Fingal Island to the mainland gets decent waves when the sand builds up. The islands key feature is an imposing lighthouse and there are some stylish cafes a short walk from the waters edge.
